Never have I seen so many beautifully supped-up cars in one place at a time. Well, not that I physically was there to witness the take off in London on May 1, 2010 but I’ve been scoping pictures and keeping updated on the Gumball 3000 rally race and am incredibly impressed with each entry. Don’t, however, be confused the rally isn’t a race in the traditional sense of racing. There are no prizes or timekeeping of any sort. Just a take off, a finish line and all the sweet cars in between. And when I say sweet, I mean sweet. One entry that surely caught my attention this year was the original Batmobile.

It was present at the starting line but did not compete. It’s owners feared it wouldn’t hold up through the lengthy trip. The disappointment from that news surely faded fast when the Batmobile from Batman Returns arrived. It is now making its way along with the others to finish in New York.
Many celebrities have gotten hip to this annual event and are getting involved. Tony Hawk not only skated to entertain at the opening in London but also is taking part in the rally and driving in the A-Team van.
The van is featured in the new movie, “The A-Team” which is released on June 11, 2010.
It’s rumored that founder of the lifestyle brand, Maximillion Cooper, was offered this years Morgan AERO MAX entry by Mr. Morgan himself.
Daps to Cooper! He’s done well in founding and up-keeping such a great brand. With all this well-deserved attention the brand has collaborations with companies like Nixon and Puma. Nixon released this design and is being sold at stores a long this year’s route.
Puma being one of their main sponsors for the race came out with a limited edition “Gold” Gumball 3000 edition of the SL street shoe. Only available for a limited time at journeys.com
visit the Gumball 3000 site and view Cooper’s blog and flip through pics of all the other gorgeous cars and stay hip to news on this lifestyle brand’s new ish.
