people think being a model is like the easiest job in the world. you get everything for free and life is just awesome.
roll out of bed around noon, someone does your makeup, another one puts cloths on you, camera here, smile there, jump around – here’s your million dollars.
then party like a rockstar until 5 in the morning.
sleep until 3pm. get a massage. roll out of bed. and shoot again.
well. yea thats pretty much it. haha.
only that its waaay less money than you think. and if we go out people stare like we’re funny lemurs in a zoo.
plus there’s no long partying if you gotta be in the gym the next day for 3 hours to stay as skinny as possible. to make sure at the next casting you will get a job at all… or having call times for jobs at 4am and hearing complains about how “tired you look”. who doesnt look tired at 4am when you get up for a job you wont even get paid for?!?! after you tried to get some sleep in your shoebox size models apartment with 4 roommates who party all night long. and when you pretty much live in a soap opera with 100 models from all over the world giving you drama at their best.
BEING A MODEL IS EXHAUSTING.
but whatever – its so worth it =D

yeah…standing under hot lights for hours, wearing bikinis in snow and overcoats in the summer, contorting yourself into weird positions, staring into the sun trying not to blink while looking sexy and fun, posing in front of a fan in a freezing studio…just a few more “perks” of modeling haha

and yeah…anyone can take a pretty picture and call him or herself a model. however, the paid modeling world is f*cking competitive. and eve has managed to succeed, scoring campaigns with companies like united colors of benetton. so…

i’m a commercial model. no runway model. everyone is pretty much taller than me hahaha
and yes, since everyone calls themself a model these days and has no idea what it actually takes to be a professional model, the market is totally screwed up and the budgets became so low -.-

on pictures it doesnt really matter how tall you are. so when the client likes you, they book you for their print ads. print ads, catalogues, magazines, tv commercials all count to commercial modeling…
