Carlos Nunez Photography

It is very rare for me to become a fan of some one’s photography. I have some favorites but the list is not very long. There are plenty of “Photographers” running around these days. 60% of the people who own SLR cameras start taking pictures of some half naked skanks, crank up the contrast on photoshop, get a Model Mayhem account, and then claim to be a professional photographer. If that’s the case I am a photographer as well. Actually, I’m a published photographer because I wrote a whole guide on how to become a professional photographer, so I’m like the master of photography. But just because you own a nice camera doesn’t mean you are a real photographer. Carlos Nunez is an example of a true photographer. He knows how to work the camera and he understands lighting. And from the looks of it, he knows how to direct his models. His diverse style is definitely refreshing. If I was a model, which I secretly am, I would want Carlos to shoot me. His work is legit! Here’s some of the stuff I took from his website:

half of this stuff is a little too unoriginal “american apparel” for me, but i’m diggin’ the confetti one and the picture of the model licking the tree. the very simple headshot of the freckled model is beautiful too
