Greetings to all!!

Hello :D

This is my first post so i’m just going to introduce myself.

My name is Elle-May but everyone just calls me Elle. I live in Australia, the Sunshine coast (which is the east coast of QLD) to be specific.

My favourite colour is turquoise (but it will change soon no doubt). My hobbies are taking pictures, creating pictures, making chocolates, cranking music and thinking.

I love the fact that everyone is just living. I love the curiosity of life and i love it when people ask lots of questions. I love being able to relate to people on all different levels and i love it how people can become uncomfortable and awkward so easily.

Speaking of awkward..

I was talking to a friend a few days ago, actually i’ve spoken to a few different people about this recently but (funniest thing). I used to catch a bus to and from school (and yes i am still in school, final year!) any way i would listen to my ipod as i got on the bus and my bus driver would say, “Good morning Elle”, and i would embarrassingly grin and with a high pitched suck up tone reply with, “Good, thank you”. And my sister who would be cringing as she followed me down the bus walk way and would be like “Elle you’re so lame she didn’t ask how you were”.  Haha OR it would be the opposite the bus driver would be like, “Hey Elle how are you?” and of course i’d just smile and say “good morning”. I never learnt my lesson. you know what the lesson is? Tune into reality..

Or even worse, (This happened to my friend recently) when you meet someone for the first time and they hold up their hand, you know to kind of like say hi and then you think “oh this is my cue to high five them”, so you nervously toss your hand in, playing it cool for a high five and they accidentally pull away or you give them the sloppiest slap of a hand and they weren’t even intending to high five you.. awkward right?

Ha, i’m so sorry if you cant relate.. but i’d love to hear any similar stories, so i don’t feel like such an idiot.. but seriously! I should just name this whole blog the embarrassing adventures of Elle.

Ps. I am going to openly admit my grammar is shocking sorry if you cant help nit picking my mistakes. I’m trying my hardest.

Oh and Pss. If you have lookbook or flickr feel free to add me

Hi Elle! follow you at Flickr (never comment). Anyway… nice to hear you are giving it a try to blogging. I love your photos (and how passionated you are about fashion on it). I feel that here too… a kind of careless (in the best way) way of looking to life. Refreshing I must say. Hope you'll update frequently over here.

About your story, I once answered "Fine, Thank you" to someone who said "Hi! Good morning" to me. I was learning english back then, I wasn't listening to an iPod, I knew exactly what this person was asking, what I had to answer, but the words I actually wanted to speak got twisted in my head (and no, I wasn't nervous). Anyway… guess these things happen.
