Now that TLC made a semi-acceptable Intervention substitute — Addicted — my week just got better. I don’t have to come down after my Monday night Intervention high, Addicted is there on Wednesday to get me over hump day. Addicted subject Klea was a meth addict who became a prostitute when her “club promoter” boyfriend told her it was the best way to support that habit. But I didn’t see any erratic behavior from her, unlike my favorite meth-head of all time, Cristy. Cristy was a meth addict/alcoholic stripper who trashed the property her father let her live in (rent-free) when she wasn’t dancing, believing she was God, or, apparently, plucking her eyebrows.

Did you see during the actual intervention when she started lobbing mints at Ken Seeley? And then she was like, Where’s my 40?! By god, I must have watched this one about 2 billion times. Good to hear a fellow telly writer is on the Intervention train. Keep up the outstanding work.
