So I still think Kanye is over hyped and not that talented (see reference video), butttttt his new sneaker is pretty appealing. This shoe will be one of six that he will release over the next few months. Despite Kanye’s lack of talent he still seems to sell records and capitalize on merchandising, hence this partnership with one of the worlds leading designer brand. This collaboration with Louis Vuitton did not come as a surprise as Kanye has been seen rocking Vuitton gear from day one. The sneaker is very similar to the classic brand of shoe, sperry topsiders. This maybe a good marketing tactic or a bad design choice. Good job Kanye West, you are now going to see the “gansters & thugs” rocking want-a-be topsiders. Good designer, terrible artist.
