Gaga’s latest music video … I’m not into the song; it’s too repetitive (you like Alejandro, we get it) and Ace of Base-esque. But I’m digging Lady Gaga’s look in the video. What are your thoughts?

Exactly! I agree with Jamie. This is a bit Madonna 2.0, and not even that original just possibly with less clothes on. Disappointing…
Having said that, I do like the fact that she is kind of taking us back to the time of music videos and a bit of showmanship with music. So many pop stars just hit auto tune or sample something and churn it out along with a two minute video of them looking at the camera. Perhaps she will surprise us next time
I love Gaga and all the videos she does. A lot of people I know don't like her because of the way she dresses or the way her videos are so "weird and pointless". She's trying to be different in a world where everybody is desperate and pressured to fit in. She got courage and that's why I admire her.
Ok, this video is kinda weird and reminds me of The Madonna Era but is not that bad…
"Déjà vu all over again" as Yogi Berra would say. I've seen this act before (and I liked it) in videos like "Like a Prayer", "Erotica", etc.. Sure, Lady Gaga is pushing the envelop a bit more, but that says more about where society is at than about Lady Gaga. I won't give this video a yay or a nay, but rather a hey…Hey Gaga you're good and so was Madonna, but give me something new and different.

hmm…i dont really see madonna at all….I see freemason symbols in the beginning, i get a "neverending story/mad max/disney villian" vibe from the whole thing…and i think lady gaga's whole concept of androgyny throughout her look & videos is brilliant (although the motives are questionable)….madonna never went down that road. also, notice how something is always said about her looks & videos, vs. her music. I personally prefer gaga stripped down with a piano, but it's clear that she, or whoever controls her music, is trying to send a message that just couldnt be sent through lyrics themselves. the whole "one eye" thing should also be looked at closely….
everything in pop music is recycled. that being said, i'm going with lucy tonic's thoughts here
shes the queen of hearts! has to be. which makes me wonder if she really is just working for the man behind the curtain as a cog in the machine
