for Christ’s sake, it was another ridiculous day. too many rules, and you can really only hope for them best when the department was full of employed students on their way out, or people like me: lifers. but you aren’t a lifer unless you give them you’re your life. well, that’s all most of us wanted. but realistically, with all that goes on in the western world today we all secretly think we live the life of an under-cover celebrity—ready to go without a moment’s notice; and seething at the chance of something important; something that people will talk about. don’t give them your life.
