It’s always fun to peruse the couture and ready-to-wear collections of designers not only to get inspiration and do some shopping (if your wallet is healthy), but to laugh/vomit/cry at the monstrosities some designers call stylish. While reviewing the Fall ’09 ready-to-wear collections on style.com, I was appalled and amused that designers try to sell this crap.

Let’s take a look at Marc Jacobs’ collection for Louis Vuitton: a hodgepodge nightmare of eighties throwbacks, Playboy bunny ears, and ruffled disasters. I can only wonder why any designer would think women would wear this nonsense – and what women are going to be foolish enough to wear the designs because they’re “high fashion”.
