Miss Lucy Tonic provides us with the best information on everything music. She compiles the greatest play lists, introduces us to cool new music, publishes thoughtful album and concert reviews, and interviews rock stars. So what kind of person is Lucy? She acquiesced to answer a few of my silly questions.
Liv: What top five songs are your most played on iTunes?
Lucy: I think I’m one of the few who doesn’t use iTunes…BUT at the moment, I’ve been listening to alot of the Cranberries, Bush…kinda in a 90s bubble. Also, the new Lips CD…and two newer bands called Neon Indian & Malakai. I also haven’t been able to get “The Knife” by Grizzly Bear out of my head.
Liv: Do you have a favorite swear word, and what is it?
Lucy: Fuck. So versatile!
Liv: If you could be any sea creature, what would you be, and why?
Lucy: Hmm…I guess…a starfish? ‘Cause no one really bothers them. I think. Not quite up to par on my marine biology.
Liv: Give me five people for your ideal dinner party.
Lucy: Hmm. Well I don’t think my kind of dinner party would be anything ideal, but I’d totally dig some of Bowie’s overall company… coffee & cigarettes with Johnny Depp. Red wine with Tori Amos…I’d have to resurrect Jim Morrison for a soul-searching peyote bender…and Hunter S. Thompson, to cure my writer’s block.
Liv: Fuck, Marry, Kill: Dumbledore, Harry Potter, and Ron Weasley…
Lucy: Who could kill Harry Potter? And I’m not sure who Dumbledore or Ron Weasley are. So I probably shouldn’t name which one I’d fuck or kill…I’m also not the marrying kind…
