I love a good cover song, because often it  will lend a song an authenticity wholly missing from the original. Music for Animals, whom I just recently reviewed for you fine folks, have just released a cover of George Michael’s song “One More Try.” It’s an interesting choice for a twenty-first century dance rock band to cover a 1980s pop mega-star’s ballad. And it’s pretty good, but don’t take my word for it: compare for yourselves.
