…in China.
We all love that hipster-esque beer that we enjoy for 2 bucks or less at our local dive bar. Yes, I’m referring to the blue collar brew of choice, the almighty Pabst Blue Ribbon. It’s crisp, clean, light and refreshing and even better CHEAP.
UNLESS YOU LIVE IN CHINA
Our favorite blue ribbon winner hailing from Milwaukee has been re-branded in China as an elite, classy beverage that is brewed in a wooden cask. I can think of a few other drinks that come in wooden casks including fine whiskey or scotch. Sometimes I sit in my office with my leather bound books indulging in a fancy glass of scotch on the rocks – not really. But that’s the vibe they are giving off in China with PBR. OH, I forgot to mention that one baby bottle cost 44 dollars. That’s about 42 dollars more than anyone should ever pay for PBR.

Don’t worry, if you ever head to China and desire a taste of home, PBR 1800 is the same ole recipe we have back here in the states. It just has more gold on the label and will empty your pockets for the night.
