There’s a special kind of music that you hear when you glide into a chic boutique hotel or when you step into an oasis of style, luxury and decadence that entices you in with its fabulous window displays created by master merchandisers. This particular breed of ambient music opens your contracted mind, releases your clenched muscles and makes believe that everything is simply delicious.
That’s the sort of music I’m showcasing this week – exclusively for your pleasure only. I may not always be traveling to the most beautiful destinations in the world, so I have learned how to recreate their ambiance at their sister locations (a.k.a. in my apartment) with the click of a mouse (well, actually, I use the touchpad on my MacBook Pro, but that’s neither here nor there).
You are cordially invited to envelope yourself in the cool style of the über elegant, au courant atmosphere of that which is boutique lalique.
