Have you ever wanted a simple job that pays a lot? Something like, oh let’s say, putting up a new product on a webpage and making sure everything is fine?
I’m sure to you and me it might seem difficult, but I’m sure for someone getting paid absurd amounts of money to work for a large company, it’s cake. I would assume it’s done thru a fairly automated system.
Circuit City seems to have messed up this simple task. I don’t know if it’s a joke to get attention or if it’s a legitimate mess up. I’m willing to go with the second option.
In this case they originally offer the much-anticipated Rock Band II for the sum that only a true Rockstar could afford. That would be somewhere around $10,000. Here is the catch, though. They are willing to give you an instant savings of $9810, bringing the price down to a more modest $189.
This proves my long-believed theory that sales really aren’t a sale. This is because the initial price is artificially raised so drastically that they are able to offer you seemingly mind-blowing deals.
See what fun they have playing tricks on your mind? I know I have just as much fun convincing you to read my crappy blogs.
