So just like huge blockbuster summer movies, Marvel has decided to launch their huge summer blockbuster universe-spanning comics event titled Secret Invasion. The short end of it is that Skrulls, a shape-shifting alien race, have secretly been placing sleeper agents in key areas of Earth’s superhero community. You see in the past Skrulls could shape-shift into whoever, but were easily detectable by various scans be they scientific or telepathic. But they developed a new way to shape-shift and have it as completely undetectable (thanks in-part to Mr. Fantastic, but he doesn’t know it). So using this new-found power and believing that it is there religious right to make Earth part of the Skrull Empire, they slipped in these sleeper agents. Then all at once these agents attack causing mass confusion and the most important thing, mistrust among the entire planet.

Like all universe-spanning comics events Secret Invasion is not only its own comic but slimes its way into a fuck load of others…Let’s list them. YEAH!!!
