I decided to shape this Sunday’s playlist around Blink 182 and the recently announced news of them jumping back into the studio again (again) in between and after their summer tour runs. I was fortunate enough to see them during their first shows back last summer in Vegas, and though I’m partially biased toward their cause, I can say they still got it, plain and simple. I am interested to see where their new songs take them musically and how Angels & Airwaves and +44 (DeLonge, Hoppus and Barker’s side projects respectively) will affect the writing style on this new effort. But for now, let us reminisce in some Blink greats.
