How do I write a review on a duo that prevents me from typing because I can’t stop nodding my head like a mad man?! Actually, Â what’s giving me a hard time is that I’d rather blast the shit of their tunes, but that’s not exactly coffee shop etiquette.
Ahhh the Bloody Beetroots – the electro, punk and hard house super hero masked duo who make you want to roundhouse kick those who can’t handle the beat. What’s really cool about their tunes is that within 10 seconds you can follow their beats and know where they plan on taking the song long before they get there.

Don’t be surprised to hear influences from Daft Punk, MSTRKRFT and Digitalism, however take note on a couple of tracks where they slow down the tempo for a minute and give a hip-hop beat that makes you want to “lean like a cholo.”

The masterminds behind this emerging group are Bob Rifo and Tommy Tea who hail from Italy and are giving the world something to be excited about. I took a look at their tour schedule and it they will be in LA for the Detour Festival this Oct. 4. So save the date in your iPhone or crackberry and get ready to take crazy pills!
Songs to watch out for:
