The Yacht Club

While certain trends may come and go, there are a few that remain timeless. One of these “timeless trends” that come to mind is the nautical trend. When worn correctly, clean pants, horizontal stripes and bold accessories can make practically anyone look sophisticated and elegant (and yes, this is partially because yachts and sailboats ooze class).

I have to admit that as the weather gets warmer, I am constantly drawn to my clean white trousers and navy & white striped shirts when I’m getting dressed in the morning. Perhaps it is because when the sun comes out I would much rather be relaxing seaside than sitting cooped up indoors, or maybe it’s because I just know that it will always look good. Regardless of the reason, nautical outfits are the way to go when you want to be comfortable, want to impress someone, or just want to look great.

Here are some nautical looks to anchor down your closet for the spring.
